Tanjung Bungah residents call for the State to preserve gazetted Sore Thumb and the public beach and formally adopt the residents’ natural-park proposal

 

TANJUNG BUNGAH — Tanjung Bungah residents are calling on the Penang State Government to honour its recorded commitments concerning Sore Thumb, the adjoining public beach and the proposed public park connected with the development of Lot 4658.

 

The residents’ request is straightforward:

 

1. Preserve Sore Thumb and the public beach as a natural coastal park,

2. Meaningfully involve the public in its design,

3. Give an o icial written decision on the detailed natural-park proposal submitted by residents.
